  Xiaoli Ying was the daughter of Xiaoli Jian, head of the Xiaoli Corporation, one of the fastest growing electronics companies in China. His son, Xiaoli Chao, was set to succeed Jian as the head of the company following his retirement. However, only a few short weeks before he was to retire, Jian, Chao and Jian's wife Zhūchun were all killed in a car crash under suspicious circumstances, leaving the company in the hands of Jian's sole surviving relative, Ying.
  After some time, business discussions began between the Xiaoli Corporation and Williams Marketing, a British marketing firm, in an attempt to make the Xiaoli Corporation a major player overseas. The deal led to great success for both companies and the two company heads eventually married, cemented by a corporate merger. Some years later, Steven was killed in a plane crash, leaving total ownership of the joint company to his wife.
  Following this, Ying became involved with the criminal underworld and began to spread her influence through China's underbelly and further into other nations, building a vast intelligence network using the resources of both sides of her company. She used this information to make under-the-table dealings, remove potential obstacles and eventually earn the attention of Abraham George King.
  King, secretly the supervillain Charisman, wished to make use of Ying's resources to spread misinformation about the various superheroes that had been surfacing around the world. The two worked out an arrangement, though Ying knew the limitations of King's abilities and refused to ever meet in person under the pretense of avoiding leaving a trail back to her, though she was sure he knew her real motive was to avoid falling under the influence of his charismatic voice. Either way, the two began a long-lasting business relationship.
  It is still unknown whether or not Ying was involved in any of the tragic yet advantageous deaths in her life, but true or not, Ms. Information is not a woman to count among your enemies.

  Ying only displays a harsh, cold persona, though no one truly knows is this is her true self or a persona she adopts to intimidate others. She shows no mercy to traitors and offers only two chances to those who fail.
